Review: Twilight

Now, Daphne has been a fan of the Twilight book series long before there even was a mentioning of the movie. So you can imagine her pleasure at learning that her favorite 300+ page books were being adapted for the silver screen. Twilight is the story of Bella Swan, an Arizona native who moves up to Washington State and falls in love with the breathtaking vampire Edward Cullen. Edward is both blissfully romantic and hopelessly flawed- the man of a girl's dreams and nightmares. So you can imagine the eagerness to see him personified. Obviously, the film is not as good as the book- it's rushed, with somewhat cheesy dialogue and slightly cold acting. However, with its story plot, beautiful visuals, and overall feel, Twilight comes highly recommended by a member of its main target audience- teenage girls. Maybe even the twins will like it!
