Ricahrd Simmons Adventure- Part 2

Ok, so maybe the second installment of what seems to be an ongoing series was not as successful as the first time around. Richard was much more hands-on (which is not something to be appreciated when sweating that much)and about 1/2 the class was taught by the other teachers. It's one thing to be working out with a slightly frail 60-70 something year old man. It's quite another to have his much-fitter-than-thou trainers up there. Still, it was all in good fun and Richard played tons of records while threatening to lock us in and play Anne Frank. Besides, after the painful procedures of sit-ups and choriographed aerobics, there was a delicious Pavillions lunch and a trip to TX in store for Do. So how was the return to Richard Simmonsville? Not bad, although now we have better expectations of what a regular class is like.

  1. Well reviewed, little D. I have to say, this class was tough, and I did really enjoy Richard playing DJ--it's a rare treat to have a record player going (rough starts, needle drops and all) and show tunes mixed with 80s disco and current dance tracks....I'd rate this a total hot mess, but in a good way! Looking forward to the next one....October 24th?????
